from hundreds of items and we'll show you some painting
techniques and explain the glazing/firing process. Items ready
in 5 days. Cost is the price of the pieces chosen.
2. Mosaics: Learn the
ancient art of mosaics and take them home the same day. Cost is
the price of the pieces chosen.
3. Play with Clay: Create
your own coil pots for pencils or your toothbrush! This
program offers an optional second visit to paint the fired items
free of charge!
Mon-Fri only. Min. of 6, reservation and $25 program fee
required 1 week in advance to hold space.
We recommend reservations for 6 or more and offer a 20% discount
for 10 or more! Monday through Friday only.

I am a local teacher/artist with thirty years of experience. My
work has been shown nationally and locally. I have taught
locally through the Athenaeum in La Jolla, Childrens' Creative
Workshops and the UCSD Crafts Center. I have received four
Artist in Residence grants from the California Arts Council. I
currently teach ceramics and book arts at the Rhoades School in
